KATHMANDU: The Narayangadh-Muglin road is remain closed for four hours daily starting from December 23.

The purpose behind this interruption is the construction of a bridge spanning the Tuin River in the Chitwan-Narayangadh-Muglin road segment.

The Nagdhunga-Muglin Road Project is scheduled to be closed from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm from December 23.

This temporary road closure will impact the flow of traffic for vehicles traveling from Narayangadh to Muglin.

Passenger vehicles will come to a halt between Pandharkilo Bazar and Jugedi, while cargo vehicles will be stopped from Bhateri Jangal to Ramnagar.

Likewise, for vehicles heading from Kathmandu, passenger vehicles are mandated to stop between Muglin Bazar and Manakamana Cablecar station, and cargo vehicles will be halted at Sadhan Lewatar.

For those coming from Pokhara, passenger vehicles are advised to stop between Benitar and Powerhouse, while cargo vehicles are expected to cease movement at the designated Satrasaya field.

It should be noted that among the 19 bridges on this route, four were constructed four years ago, with simultaneous work initiated on the remaining 15 bridges, as confirmed by the project authorities.
