Maoist Center to hold Statute Convention in February 2024



KATHMANDU: A meeting of the office bearers of the ruling Maoist Center has decided to hold the party’s Statute Convention during the second week of February.

Vice Chairman and Spokesperson Agni Sapkota stated that a Legislative Drafting Committee has been formed for the upcoming Convention.

The committee, as outlined by Sapkota, comprises Party Vice Chairperson Pampha Bhusal, General Secretary Dev Gurung, Deputy General Secretaries Girirajmani Pokharel, Barshman Pun, and Janardhan Sharma, along with Secretaries Ganesh Sah and Ram Karki.

The formation of this committee, Sapkota claimed, signals a strategic step toward the successful organization of the Statute Convention.
