NEPSE declines by 24 points on Tuesday

KATHMANDU: The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) has fallen by almost 24 points on Tuesday.

The stock market index NEPSE today fell by 23.82 points to 1829.65 points.

Shares of all groups except mutual funds decreased today. The shares of Upper Mailungkhola Hydropower Company decreased the most by about 10 percent and the shares of Mithila Microfinance decreased by about nine percent. On the day that the market fell, Menchiam Hydropower Company’s shares rose the most by eight percent.

Along with the market, the transaction amount has also decreased. Today 3,l675,000 thousand shares were traded at 950.4 million rupees. Himalayan Distillery’s transaction worth Rs 77.8 million topped the transaction number today.
