UML to organize festival tea reception on October 31



KATHMANDU: CPN-UML Chair KP Oli is scheduled to host a tea reception on October 31 on the occasion of the Bada Dashain, Tihar, Nepal Sambat and Chhath festivals.

The tea reception would be held at the party’s central office at Chyasal, Lalitpur, said Gagan Bista, chief of the UML Central Publicity and Publication Department.

Meanwhile, the UML has issued directives to its related committees to conduct the general convention at the district and municipality levels within February 12, 2024.

These include the district, local and ward committee general conventions, states a press release issued by UML Central Organization Department Secretary Madhav Dhungel.

A meeting chaired by party standing committee member and Department Chief Kashinath Adhikari has endorsed the party membership authentication report.

As per the report, the memberships of 550,000 party members have been certified.
