Bagmati CM Jamkattel inducts six ministers from NC, two from Unified Socialist



HETAUDA: Bagmati Province Chief Minister Shalikram Jamkattel has expanded the ministers adding four ministers from Nepali Congress (NC) and two from the CPN-Unified Socialist Party on Sunday.

From NC lawmaker Masina Khadka Bhandari has become the minister for Forest and Environment, Pukar Maharjan Tourism, Industry and Cooperatives, Uttam Joshi Health, and Ramakrishna Chitrakar the Minister without portfolio.

Similarly, Lakshman Lamsal has become Minister of Labor, Employment and Transport and Rajendraman Shrestha has become Minister of Agriculture and Livestock Development from CPN Unified Socialist.

The newly appointed minister will be sworn in shortly.

The Council of Ministers of Bagmati province has 12 members now; comprising six ministers of NC, four including the Chief Minister from the CPN-Maoist Center, and two ministers of the Unified Socialist.
