Vehicle of Dr. Swarnim Wagle’s father vandalized in Damauli

TANAHUN: Vehicle of Jiwan Ram Wagle, the father of Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) candidate in Tanahun-1, Swarnim Wagle, has been vandalized in Tanahun.

DSP Mohan Bahadur Khand, Spokesperson of District Police Office Tanahun said that a Maruti vehicle numbered (Ba 11 Ch 4250) parked in front of Santosh Hotel in Damauli, Byas Municipality-3 of Tanahun was vandalized.

The police received the information about the vehicle vandalism only at 6:30 am on Friday morning.

Immediately after the information, the team of Police Inspector Rajkumar BK from District Police Office Tanahun reached the spot.

According to Inspector BK, an unidentified group vandalized the vehicle at around 1 o’clock last night.

The glass on the side of the vehicle was smashed.

DSP Khand said that the police have initiated an investigated into the incident.

He said that the CCTV footage around the incident site will be collected and those involved will be be brought to book.

Swarnim’s father Jiwan Ram was staying at the same hotel last night.
