Tulsipur collaborating with private sector for waste management



TULSIPUR: Tulsipur Sub-metropolitan City has put in place preparation to collaborate with private sector for solid waste management.

Preparation was being made to entrust the responsibility of solid waste management to a Kathmandu-based organization namely Enrich Nepal.

In this connection, the sub-metropolis has also put forward a process to contract out the organization through its sixth executive meeting.

The meeting has formed a task force under the leadership of coordinator of disaster management committee and Tulsipur-6 ward chair Barshat Bhandari.

The contract process would gain momentum once the task force came up with the report.

Deputy Mayor of Tulsipur, Syani Chaudhary also stressed the need to develop partnership with private sector.
