KATHMANDU: The Nepali Embassy in Tel Aviv has confirmed that the bodies of four Nepali students, who tragically lost their lives in an attack by Hamas in Israel, will be flown back to Nepal.
The embassy has organized their repatriation, with the bodies of Narayan Prasad Neupane, Lokendra Singh Dhami, Dipeshraj Bista, and Ashish Chaudhary, scheduled to arrive in Kathmandu on Sunday morning (October 22).
The embassy stated that the necessary arrangements have been made for the transportation of the bodies via a Flydubai flight.
The flight, with the remains on board, is set to depart from Tel Aviv to Dubai on Saturday, with subsequent arrangements for the final leg of the journey to Kathmandu via another Flydubai flight.
While efforts are ongoing to identify the other bodies, the embassy has emphasized its commitment to locating Bipin Joshi, who remains unaccounted for.
The authorities have assured that all available resources and mechanisms are being deployed to find him.
The Israeli government has cooperated with the embassy, handing over the bodies of the Nepali victims.
It should be noted that a total of 10 Nepali students were tragically killed in the Hamas attack in Israel.
