NHRC to remain operational during Dashain holidays



KATHMANDU: The National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) has declared that it will maintain operational status throughout the Dashain festival.

As per NHRC insiders, the central, provincial, and other branch offices will also continue to serve the public during Dashain.

The offices will be accessible from 11 am to 2 pm daily.

With the paramount aim of safeguarding citizens’ human rights, the commission has stated that it has taken steps to ensure office availability even on public holidays.

The commission has further affirmed that during this period, it will accept complaints concerning human rights violations and will proactively monitor significant incidents as required.
