Clear skies predicted for Dashain



KATHMANDU: The Weather Forecasting Division has said that the weather is expected to be generally clear during this year’s Dashain festival.

According to Meteorologist Rojan Lamichhane, the weather forecast indicates clear skies during the celebration of Dashain festival.

While there might be isolated instances of light rain in certain mountainous regions of the country, overall, the weather is anticipated to remain favorable, according to him.

Currently, Nepal is experiencing a partial influence of the western wind, leading to the possibility of sporadic light rain accompanied by thunder and lightning in some hilly areas of the country.

In the higher hills and Himalayan regions, there is a chance of light snowfall occurring in a couple of locations.

Furthermore, the forecast suggests the likelihood of light rain with thunder and lightning in the hilly areas of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces, today and tomorrow.
