KATHMANDU: On the occasion of Constitution Day, a spectacular ceremony unfolded at the Army Pavilion, Tundikhel, on Wednesday.

The event was graced by President Ram Chandra Poudel as the esteemed chief guest.

Distinguished leaders including Vice President Ram Sahay Prasad Yadav, Chief Justice Bishwambhar Shrestha, Speaker of the National Assembly Ganesh Prasad Timilsina, Acting Prime Minister Purna Bahadur Khadka, and Deputy Prime Minister Narayan Kaji Shrestha present on the occasion.

Also present were ministers, Speaker Devraj Ghimire, Members of Parliament, heads and officers of constitutional bodies, as well as representatives from foreign missions and missions, among others.

The event was marked by a magnificent display of patriotism and reverence for the Constitution.

March passes and musical performances were delivered by various teams representing the Nepal Army, Nepal Police, and Armed Police Force.

Adding a cultural touch to the proceedings, cultural processions were presented by Kathmandu Metropolitan City, Lalitpur Metropolitan City, and Bhaktapur Municipality.

Acting Prime Minister Khadka emphasized the significance of the Constitution and the unity it represents for the nation.
