Nepal in favor of banning nuclear test: Foreign Minister Saud



NEW YORK: Minister for Foreign Affairs NP Saud said Nepal was in favor of prohibiting nuclear tests.

At a meeting with Executive Secretary of the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty Organization (CTBTO) Robert Floyd, Minister Saud clarified Nepal’s stance on banning nuclear tests.

Foreign Minister Saud also informed Executive Secretary Floyd about Nepal’s commitment to the prohibition of nuclear tests.

Minister Saud who is in New York in the course of attending the 78th session of the United Nations General Assembly has intensified sideline meetings.
