Socialist Front scheduled to meet today evening



KATHMANDU: A meeting of the Socialist Front comprising four political parties is taking place late this evening.

According to CPN (Unified Socialist) Spokesperson Jagannath Khatiwada, the meeting has been scheduled to be held at 6:00 pm today.

The meeting to take place at the Aloknagar-based central office of the Unified Socialist is expected to discuss about the government affairs, contemporary political topics, among other issues.

The Front will be meeting second time since its establishment around three months ago.

Earlier, the meeting was postponed due to the passing of Sita Dahal, Maoist Centre, leader and the spouse of Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’.

The Front comprises Maoist Centre, Janata Samajbadi Party, Unified Socialist and the Nepal Communist Party led by Netra Bikram Chand ‘Biplav’.
