KATHMANDU: President Ram Chandra Paudel and Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda avoided meeting with India’s spiritual leader, Bageshwar Baba, also known as ‘Dhirendrakrishna Shastri,’ who is currently in Nepal.

Even though PM Dahal was scheduled to meet him on Saturday morning, he later preferred to not meet him citing a “busy schedule”.

Bageshwar Baba is giving sermons at Shaswat Dham.

Shastri had expressed his desire to also meet with President Ram Chandra Paudel. However, President Paudel’s enthusiasm for the meeting appeared to be limited as President Paudel did not prefer to meet him citing health reasons.

Shastri’s visit to Nepal has been facilitated by the Chaudhary Group.
