KATHMANDU: The Unified Socialist Party, under the leadership of Madhav Kumar Nepal, has announced its forthcoming Politburo meeting scheduled for August 20 and 21.
A meeting of the party’s Secretariat held on Saturday decided to convene the Politburo meeting on August 20 and 21.
Likewise, the party has slated a Central Committee meeting to take place in Kathmandu from August 22 to 24.
Jagannath Khatiwada, the head of the party’s Publicity Department, stated that the agenda of the meeting will encompass an in-depth assessment of the country’s political landscape and the party’s imminent objectives.
Khatiwada further added that the Politburo meeting will formulate the agenda for the subsequent Central Committee session, as well as deliberate upon pivotal decisions pertaining to the current political panorama in the nation.
“We have scheduled the Politburo meeting for both Sunday and Monday,” Khatiwada stated.
The party is also in the preparatory stages for its national convention, which is anticipated to be convened in either December or January.
