Nepal sees 14 new coronavirus cases in past 24 hours, active cases 80



KATHMANDU: Nepal recorded a total of 14 new cases of coronavirus in the past 24 hours as of Saturday.

Out of the confirmed cases, four were detected through the RT-PCR method and 10 through Antigen method.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, a total of 793 swab samples were tested in the past 24 hours.

Out of the samples tested, 139 were tested through RT-PCR method and 654 through Antigen method.

Currently, there are 80 active cases in the country as 13 infected patients recovered in the past 24 hours.

No coronavirus related death was recorded in the past 24 hours, and the COVID-19 death toll in the country has been 12,031 to date.
