Passenger notices rat on Buddha Air plane



JANAKPURDHAM: The Buddha Air flight from Janakpur to Kathmandu was suspended on Saturday morning after a passenger spotted a rat.

Spokesman of Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal Jagannath Niraula informed that the flight was stopped after a passenger saw a rat on the plane that was about to fly to Kathmandu at 9:30 am on Saturday morning.

The aircraft reached Janakpur at 8:30 am. When the plane was leaving for Kathmandu, the passenger saw the rat, said spokesperson Niraula. 49 passengers had boarded the plane.

After the incident, Buddha Air sent another plane to bring the passengers to Kathmandu.
