Janamat Party continues its support to PM Dahal

KATHMANDU: Janamat Party’s Chair Chandrakant Raut has said the party has decided to give a vote of confidence to Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’.

Taking part in deliberations on a proposal put forth by the Prime Minister in the House of Representatives today seeking a vote of confidence, Raut said they would be supporting the proposal as the party hoped to see the protection and promotion of democracy, federalism and the Constitution under the leadership of Dahal.

He recalled the moment of giving the vote of confidence to Dahal before this as well.

“We believe that the Prime Minister who had a history of struggle for the establishment of federalism and republic in the nation would act diligently for the protection of such achievements in the days to come,” Dr. Raut said.

Citing the situation requiring the Prime Minister to receive a vote of confidence time and again is not good, he wished such situation may not reoccur.
