Nepal facing India in SAFF U-17 women’s Championship today

KATHMANDU: Nepal is competing against India in the first match of the SAFF U-17 Championship commencing on Monday.

The Championship is sttarting in Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh, today.

The match will be held at the BSSS Mostafa Kamal Stadium in Dhaka.

The match is scheduled to start at 3 PM Nepali time.

Nepal, who won the U-15 title earlier, wants to make a good start in the tournament by defeating India today.

In the second match today host Bangladesh and Bhutan will face each other.

Five teams namely Bangladesh, Nepal, India, Bhutan, and Russia are participating in the championship.

The Russian team is going to participate in the competition for the first time.

In the championship to be held on a single round-robin basis, the team securing the highest points in the table will clinch the title.
