Nepal sees two new coronavirus cases in 24 hours, active cases 15



KATHMANDU: Nepal recorded two new cases of coronavirus in the past 24 hours as of Monday.

The confirmed cases were detected through the RT-PCR method.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, a total of 1,407 swab samples were tested in the past 24 hours.

Out of the cases tested today, 408 were tested through RT-PCR method and 999 through Antigen method.

Currently, there are 15 active cases in the country as two infected patients recovered in the past 24 hours.

No coronavirus-related death was recorded in the past 24 hours, and the COVID-19 death toll stands at 12,020 to date.
