Finance Minister Mahat assures resolution to industrial woes



HETAUDA: Finance Minister Dr. Prakash Sharan Mahat has addressed what he said the “pressing issues” within the industry and construction sectors, assuring prompt solutions.

He emphasized a collaborative effort between the private sector and the government to tackle challenges related to bank interest rates and payments in these fields.

Speaking at a program organized by the Makwanpur Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Hetauda, Dr. Mahat expressed the government’s commitment to developing the industrial sector in Hetauda, highlighting upcoming decisions regarding the Hetauda Cement Industry.

Acknowledging the escalating old liabilities, he mentioned plans to align the budget with anticipated income.

The Finance Minister also called for immediate talks on renewing and expanding the scope of work for the crusher industry.

He urged cooperation with local government, administration, and security agencies for the successful organization of the upcoming fair festival in Makwanpur.
