KATHMANDU: On Tuesday, the local gold market witnessed a notable increase, with the price of gold rising by Rs 200 per tola.
The Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association reported that the current price of fine gold has reached Rs 118,000 per tola, while standard gold is being traded at Rs 117,450 per tola.
Simultaneously, the price of silver has experienced a decline, dropping by Rs 500 per tola and is currently valued at Rs 1,450 per tola. It’s important to note that a tola is equivalent to 11.66 grams.
