Nepal powerful in terms of language and culture: PM Dahal

KATHMANDU: Prime Minister (PM) Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has expressed his hope that the Chhath festival would further strengthen national unity, mutual trust and relations.

Extending best wishes to all Nepali sisters and brothers at home and abroad as well as the Terai residents, PM Dahal said though Nepal is small in the geographical area the country is big and powerful in terms of language, art, culture, festivals, customs and civilization.

“Our culture, customs and historical facts provide evidence to prove this as a reality. Nepali Constitution has embraced unity with diversity as a national pride while internalizing multi-ethnicity, multi-lingual, multi-cultural and regional features of Nepali society”, he said.

Prime Minister Dahal said the festival would enliven the nature-human relations, respect and produce and protect life-consuming natural goods and play a crucial role in the development of work culture.
