Govt condemns attack in Gaza hospital
The government has said it is deeply shocked by the killing of innocent civilians in a hospital in Gaza yesterday. “We condemn this attack against the hospital, medical personnel, patients, and civilians and convey our heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families,” said a press release issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, adding that Nepal government offers prayers for the speedy recovery of the injured people.

Over 4 lakh people leave Kathmandu Valley for Dashain

UN Secretary General Guterres visiting Nepal on October 29

Birgunj hosting international soccer tournament in November
The ‘First Birgunj Gold Cup-2023’ is set to taking place in Birgunj, Parsa next month. The soccer tournament to be hosted by the Veterans City Club, Birghunj is scheduled to run from November 4 to 11 and its winner will receive a cash prize of Rs 1,111,111 while it is Rs 555,555 for the runner-up.
Tipper movement limited in Kavrepalanchowk during Dashain
The District Administration Office, Kavrepalanchowk has imposed restrictions on tipper operations during the Dashain festival. Effective today, tipper trucks are prohibited from operating between 5:00 am to 9:00 pm each day, and this restriction will remain in place until October 13.
