Mukunda Timilsina elected President of Nepal-Finland Chamber



KATHMANDU: Mukunda Timilsina has been elected as the President of the Nepal Finland Chamber of Commerce and Industry (NFCCI) following the conclusion of the NFCCI’s first annual general meeting.

The assembly unanimously elected a 26-member working committee under the leadership of Timilsina.

The NFCCI has also bestowed the position of patron upon Rajeshkaji Shrestha, former President of the Nepal Chamber of Commerce.

Prajwal Jung Pandey, Sunil KC, and Shakti Kumar Begani have assumed roles as the three vice-presidents of the NFCCI, while Bishwesh Shrestha and Dipendra Sigdel have been elected as General Secretary and Treasurer, respectively.

Furthermore, Sitaram Thapa and Urusha Chapagain will serve as the association’s secretaries.

The newly formed working committee includes Arjun Paudel, Bijay Paudel, Bharat Shrestha, Chetan Bhandari, Dimprasad Paudel, Gorme Dorjee Sherpa, Nilkrishna Tamrakar, and Pradiksha Sharma.

Additionally, Prakash Bahadur Khatri, Prakash Pandey, Rajendra Dhakal, Rajendra Sapkota, Rajesh Lama, Rakesh Kumar Adukia, Sanjeev Kumar Pandey, Shiva Dhakal, and Uttam Silwal have also been chosen as members of the committee.

President Timilsina has assured close collaboration between Nepal and Finland in the realms of investment, tourism, and trade.

He emphasized the potential for increased export of Nepalese goods to Finland, underlining the association’s forthcoming dedication to prioritizing export promotion activities.
