Naubise-Malekhu road to be closed for 4 hours from Wednesday night

MALEKHU, DHADING: Naubise-Malekhu road section under Prithvi Highway will be blocked for 4 hours from Wednesday night for road expansion and construction.

The District Administration Office, Dhading, issued a statement on Tuesday and notified that the road section will be closed until October 7th.

The stakeholders’ meeting held at the District Administration Office, Dhading on Monday decided to widen the road according to the approved design near Khairghari (17 km) and near Pokhare (33 km) and block the road for 4 hours at night for the same.

Assistant Chief District Officer of Dhading, Humnath Parajuli, shared that the movement of vehicles other than ambulances and security agency vehicles will be halted from 11 pm to 3 am in view of the risk of traffic during construction.

During this period, vehicles going from Kathmandu will be stopped at Eklephant at Thakre, and vehicles coming from Chitwan will be stopped at Ghatbeshi Bridge at Gajuri.
