KATHMANDU: Prime Minister (PM) Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda has emphasized the government’s relentless efforts to successfully conclude Nepal’s transitional justice (TJ) process and has requested the support and assistance of the United Nations.

During his meeting with United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres in New York, Prime Minister Dahal underscored the importance of United Nations assistance as Nepal progresses towards becoming a developing country.

The Prime Minister’s Secretariat stated that the meeting, held at the UN headquarters in New York, covered a wide range of topics, including the remaining tasks related to Nepal’s peace process, climate change, the challenges faced by least-developed countries (LDCs), development initiatives, mutual cooperation, and partnerships.
