KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress (NC) central member Ramhari Khatiwada has thanked party leader Dr. Shekhar Koirala for abstaining from the activities that could lead to misunderstandings in the party.
Speaking at the Central Working Committee meeting on Wednesday, Khatiwada thanked leader Koirala.
He thanked Dr. Koirala for his moderation politics after the election.
“I would like to thank Shekhar Koirala. After the election, he has tried to make the party united by using moderation in politics,” Khatiwada said.
Dr. Koirala was defeated to the post of President by Sher Bahadur Deuba in the 14th General Convention of the party in 2078 BS.
Before the CWC meeting, it was customary for other groups to gather together. But this year, Dr. Koirala did not call the faction meeting.
