KATHMANDU: Nepal recorded a total of 30 new cases of coronavirus in the past 24 hours as of Friday.
Out of the confirmed cases, 14 were detected through the RT-PCR method and 16 through Antigen method.
According to the Ministry of Health and Population, a total of 944 swab samples were tested in the past 24 hours.
Out of the samples tested, 344 were tested through RT-PCR method and 600 through Antigen method.
Currently, there are 89 active cases in the country as 13 infected patients recovered in the past 24 hours.
No coronavirus related death was recorded in the past 24 hours, and the COVID-19 death toll in the country has been 12,031 to date.
