Take-offs and landings at TIA to be halted from 1 am to 7 am on Thursday

KATHMANDU: Take-offs and landings at the Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) in Kathmandu will be halted from 1 a.m. to 7 a.m. on Thursday.

Director General at the TIA, Pratap Babu Tiwari said all domestic and international flights will be closed at the airport during this period.

According to him, the flights will be disrupted due to the ongoing work of connecting the online UPS and strengthening the airport’s power supply system.

TIA officials have urged passengers to contact their airline companies and make necessary arrangements.
