NSP to support NC candidates in Chitwan-2 and Tanahun-1



KATHMANDU: Nepal Samajwadi Party (NSP) led by Dr. Baburam Bhattarai has decided to support Nepali Congress (NC) candidates in Chitwan Constituency-2 and Tanahun Constituency-1 in the April 23 by-election.

A meeting of the party’s Central Execution Committee meeting made the decision to this effect.

Earlier, NC President Sher Bahadur Deuba had written to Dr. Bhattarai to support the candidates of the ruling alliance in the by-election.

NC has fielded Jit Narayan Shrestha in Chitwan-2 and Gobinda Bhattarai in Tanahun-1.
