EC calls for registering parties for by-election
The Election Commission (EC) has called on the parties for registering for the by-election to be held in Chitwan constituency number 2 on April 23. The EC, through a notice, called on the parties for registration between February 22 and 28 for contesting the by-election.

Jazeera Airways to resume flights at Bhairahawa airport from March 9
The Jazeera Airways has decided to resume its flights at Gautam Buddha International Airport (Bhairahawa airport), the second international airport of Nepal, from March 9. According to the airport spokesperson Subas Jha, Jazeera has informed that it will carry out three flights every week after the resumption.
PM Dahal, NC President Deuba meet in Baluwatar
Nepali Congress (NC) president and former Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba and Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ have held a meeting in Baluwatar on Sunday evening.
According to Nepali Congress sources, NC president Deuba, along with other senior leaders of the party, reached Baluwatar to meet Prime Minister Dahal and discuss on the possibilities of reviving former NC-led alliance.
“Decisive discussions are being held between Deuba and Prime Minister Dahal on the issue of presidential elections and reviving the old alliance,” an NC leader said under anonymity.
The NC leader shared that Prime Minister Dahal assured to inform them (NC leaders) after discussing the issue in the party meeting on Monday.
NC President Deuba was accompanied by General Secretary Gagan Thapa, and leaders duo Ramchandra Poudel and Krishna Prasad Sitaula during the meeting.
