Jazeera Airways to resume flights at Bhairahawa airport from March 9

BUTWAL: The Jazeera Airways has decided to resume its flights at Gautam Buddha International Airport (Bhairahawa airport), the second international airport of Nepal, from March 9.

According to the airport spokesperson Subas Jha, Jazeera has informed that it will carry out three flights every week after the resumption.

Jha informed that Jazeera has already begun advance ticket booking.

Following the company’s decision to halt regular flights citing low visibility, the airport has hbeen virtually shut. The Jazeera halted its service at Bhairahawa since December 21.

The Jazeera Airways is the first airline to carry out regular international flights from and to the airport since its inauguration in 2022.

According to sources, Bhairahawa international airport can carry out 30 to 40 international flights every day.
