Suspended lawmaker Arun Chaudhary released from Kailali jail



KAILALI: Arun Chaudhary, who was elected from Kailali Constituency-2 to the House of Representatives, has been released from Kailali District Jail today.

President Bidya Devi Bhandari had earlier pardoned the sentences of 395 prisoners on the occasion of Democracy Day.

According to prison sources, the names of four people, including Chaudhary, who are in Kailali prison, were in the list.

The jail administration released them after completing the necessary procedures from the district administration office.

Kailali District Court had ordered three people including Chaudhary to six months imprisonment on 22 April 2013 for setting a tractor on fire on August 19, 2009.
