NC candidate will be elected President: NC Gen Secretary Sharma

SURKHET: Nepali Congress (NC) General Secretary Bishwo Prakash Sharma has said that the candidate nominated by his party will be elected as the country’s President.

Speaking at a program in Surkhet on Sunday, Sharma said that since Nepali Congress is the largest party in the Parliament, the candidate nominated by the party will be elected as the President.

“The Nepali Congress lost power due to its own weakness,” he said.

He also claimed that the Maoist Center would support the Nepali Congress to elect the President based on the alliance with the Congress during the November 20 general elections.
