Suspended lawmaker Arun Chaudhary to be released from Kailali jail today



KAILALI: Arun Chaudhary, who was elected from Kailali Constituency-2 to the House of Representatives, is set to be released from Kailali District Jail today.

President Bidya Devi Bhandari pardoned the sentences of 395 prisoners on the occasion of Democracy Day.

According to prison sources, the names of four people, including Chaudhary, who are in Kailali prison, are included in the list.

The jail administration has prepared to release them after completing the necessary procedures from the district administration office after 10 o’clock.

Kailali District Court had ordered three people including Chaudhary to six months imprisonment on 22 April 2013 for setting a tractor on fire on August 19, 2009.
