Youth tries to immolate in Kathmandu’s Civil Mall

KATHMANDU: A man sprinkled petrol on himself tried to immolate at the Civil Mall, Sundhara in Kathmandu on Thursday.

According to SP Dineshraj Mainali of District Police Circle, Bishan Gurung Lamichhane tried to set himself on fire.

A police team, however, rescued him and took him to a hospital.

The youth is being treated at the National Trauma Center Hospital, police said.
