PM Dahal congratulates Dr. Ruit for receiving ISA Award



KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda has congratulated Senior Ophthalmologist Dr. Sanduk Ruit on receiving the prestigious ISA Award.

“His contribution in the field of human welfare is prestigious and commendable for the country,” Prime Minister Dahal said on Thursday.

He added that the government would take his expectations from the state seriously.

Dr Ruit, has receive the fifth edition of ISA Award for service to humanity, which is a top civilian honor of the Kingdom of Bahrain.

He will receive a certificate of merit, a gold medal and a US$1 million cash prize.

The award will be presented at a ceremony to be held under the patronage of King Hamad Bin Eisa Al Khalifa at the ISA Cultural Centre in Manama next month.
