Nepal exports electricity worth Rs 11.80 billion to India since mid-June



KATHMANDU: Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) has exported electricity worth 11.80 billion rupees to India from mid-June to mid-October.

NEA started selling the electricity saved in the rainy season after consumption within the country from June 11 this year in the Indian market.

According to NEA sources, the Authority exported electricity worth Rs 9,645,400,000 to India in the first three months of the current fiscal year 2080/081.
