BIRATNAGAR: The Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) Koshi State Parliamentary Party, expressed his reservations about giving a vote of confidence to Chief Minister Kedar Karki.
Addressing the provincial assembly on Wednesday, RPP leader Bhakti Prasad Sitaula voiced his concerns regarding the government’s stability, asserting, “After all the parties cast their votes, we are prepared to occupy the opposition seat, as the RPP’s role is that of a constructive opposition.”
He indicated that Chief Minister Karki should anticipate the opposition’s vote since he has submitted a proposal for a vote of confidence.
Sitaula emphasized, “We are walking on a tightrope, and we earnestly hope that he will govern with prudence. The province’s stability is currently of paramount concern.”
