PM Dahal urges global cooperation to tackle climate change

MUSTANG: Prime Minister (PM) Pushpa Kamal Dahal “Prachanda” highlighted the global nature of the climate change crisis, emphasizing the need for collective action.

During a climate dialogue in Mustang on Wednesday, he underscored the importance of concerted efforts to mitigate the rise in global temperatures.

Prime Minister Dahal stressed the significance of directing resources towards the Himalayan region, particularly Mustang, to address climate-related challenges.

He emphasized that climate change is not solely the concern of one region but a shared responsibility of the entire world.

“The Himalayan region, including Mustang, requires dedicated resources. The issue of climate change is not confined to our locality alone; it is a global challenge that demands collaborative efforts,” Prime Minister Dahal stated.

Furthermore, Prime Minister Dahal engaged with local residents to gain insights into the direct impacts of climate change on the community.
