NC General Secy Thapa proposes to add 22 departments in party



KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress (NC) General Secretary Gagan Thapa has put forward a proposal to add 22 departments in the party.

Presenting the action plan at the Central Working Committee Meeting on Tuesday, he proposed 22 departments to reinvigorate the party.

General Secretary Thapa also shared that the party is to run ‘Go back to house, make party members’ campaign from August 5 2023 to July 15, 2024.

“A form has been sent to the district working committee for the distribution of active membership throughout the year. Now interested friends can take active membership in the party after completing the process. We have started to distribute the active membership of the party online,” he said, adding, “A national campaign will be launched from August 5, 2023 to July 15, 2024.”

The CWC meeting is currently ongoing.

The meeting of the Central Committee will last for about a week.
