Sudurpaschim Province govt. to give interest-free loan for farmers



SUDURPASCHIM: The Sudurpaschim Province Government has announced a provision of interest-free loans to the farmers to promote commercial farming.

In the provincial government’s budget for the upcoming fiscal year, the province government has announced to provide interest-free loans by bringing about reforms in the agricultural grants and to properly utilize such grants.

The province government has allocated Rs 40 million to provide such a loan through the establishment of the Province Agriculture Promotion Fund.

The province has also planned to become self-reliant on legumes, spicy goods and fruits within five years.

Likewise, the agriculture ambulance service will be run in partnership with the market promotion of agricultural goods.
