Organized by the Nepal Chamber of Commerce (NCC), Minister for Labour, Employment and Social Security Sharat Singh Bhandari inaugurated the expo amid an event.

The fair aims to encourage the business community by promoting the exports of domestic goods, said the NCC.

There are 150 stalls set up for the expo that runs until May 22, and products like automobiles, electrical and electronic appliances, furnishings, essentials, clothes, mobile phones, handicrafts, and leather, cosmetic and ayurvedic products are on display.

National and International companies and businesspersons from Nepal, India and Bangladesh have participated. Interactions, exchanges of information about imports and exports and the marketisation of Nepali products are expected from the expo, said the NCC.
