PM Dahal responds to lawmakers’ questions at HoR

KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal “Prachanda” is responding to questions from Members of Parliament (MPs) in today’s session of the House of Representatives (HoR) that is underway at the Federal Parliament in New Baneswor.

Parliamentarians are asking questions to Prime Minister Dahal covering a wide range of issues.

Parliament Secretariat informed that PM Dahal will take questions from 15 MPs.

Among the MPs — each of the ruling party Nepali Congress and three from the main opposition CPN-UML — are asking the questions.

Likewise, one parliamentarian each from the Maoist Center, Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP), Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP), Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP), Loktantrik Samajwadi Party (LSP), Nagarik Unmukti Party and Janamat Party will be given time to ask questions.

Ishwor Neupane, Dilendra Prasad Badu, Ram Hari Khatiwada, Deepak Giri from the Nepali Congress, have given their names to ask questions to the Prime Minister. However, only three MPs from the NC will be allowed to ask questions.

Similarly, CPN-UML’s Padam Giri, Bidya Bhattarai and Raghuji Pant have given their names to ask questions to the Prime Minister.

Likewise, Purna Bahadur Gharti of Maoist Center, Shishir Khanal of RSP, Metmani Chaudhary of United Socialist have also registered their names.

Similarly, Deepak Karki of Janata Samajwadi Party, Sarbendra Nath Shukla of Loktantrik Samajwadi Party, Anita Devi of Janamat Party, and Gangaram Chaudhary of Nagarik Unmukti Party, have registered their names.

One lawmaker each from Nepal Majdoor Kisan Party, Rastriya Janamorcha and Aam Janata Party will be asking questions to the Prime Minister.

Independent MP Amresh Kumar Singh has also registered his name to as question to Prime Minister Dahal.

Lawmakers will be asking questions on the fake Bhutanese refugee scam, Prime Minister’s visit to India, citizenship, among other issues, according to the Parliament Secretariat.

The Nagarik Unmukti Party lawmaker will raise question on the release of Resham Chaudhary.
