RSP, Janamat and LSP preparing to form alliance

KATHMANDU: Seven parties, including Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP), Janamat Party, and others have initiated efforts to form an alliance.

Other parties in the proposed alliance include Loktantrik Samajwadi Party, Nagarik Unmukti Party, Aam Janata Party, Hamro Nepali Party and Sanghiya Samajwadi Party.

Sources claimed that preparations to form a political alliance among these parties have reached the final stage.

It should be noted that major political parties, including the Nepali Congress, Janata Samajwadi Party, among others did not vote in favor of Janamat Party vice-presidential candidate Mamata Jha on Friday.

Sources claimed that the Janamat Party is displeased with the “attitude” of the major political parties.
