Nepal’s women’s football team playing second friendly match against India

KATHMANDU: The second friendly match between the Nepal’s national women’s football team and the Indian team is being played in India.

The match started at 8:30 pm Nepali time at the Jawaharlal Nehru Ground in Chennai.

The first friendly match on Wednesday was tie, 2-2.

Nepal played an exciting draw against home team India after reversing the lead of two goals.

Sabitra Bhandari scored both goals for Nepal.

Earlier, Nepal defeated India by 1-0 in the semi-finals of the Women’s SAFF held at the Dasharath Stadium.

India has invited Nepal for two friendly matches as a preparation for Olympic selection.
