KATHMANDU: Newly appointed Executive Director of Bir Hospital, Dr Santosh Paudel, has said that a burn ward will be put into operation at the hospital within the next three months.

The service for burn patients at the hospital was stopped after the building where the ward was located was destroyed by the 2015 earthquake. “We will operate a burn ward with an intensive care unit and a surgery room within the next three months”, Dr Paudel said. The hospital will operate the burn ward from the new building.
