Pravina Amatya elected as president of Nepal-U.S. Alumni Network

KATHMANDU: The Nepal-U.S. Alumni Network (NUSAN) has recently elected Pravina Amatya as its new President, signaling a new chapter for the organization.

Comprising U.S. exchange alumni, NUSAN is dedicated to fostering professional relationships, facilitating academic exchange, and promoting the mutual benefits of the enduring friendship between Nepal and the United States.

The newly elected executive committee of NUSAN includes Baman Kumar Ghimire as Vice President, Swarna Tamrakar as General Secretary, Nikesh Balami as Secretary, and Kushma KC as Treasurer. Additionally, Roshan Khadka, Ashok Sah, Prakash Lamichhane, Krishna Bahadur Sunar, Gargi Nepal, and Sagar Koirala have been elected as members of the executive committee.

The tenure for the newly appointed executive committee is set for two years, during which they are expected to contribute to the organization’s mission and objectives.

Membership to NUSAN is open to all Nepali professionals who have participated in U.S. Department of State-sponsored programs, encouraging a diverse and inclusive community within the organization.
