Kami Rita breaks his own record with 27th climb to Mt Everest



KATHMANDU: Kami Rita Sherpa has set a new record by reaching the summit of Mt. Everest for the 27th time.

According to Seven Summit Treks, he reached the peak of Mt Everest (8,848.86 meters)  for the 27th time at 8:30 am today morning.

He reached the summit of Everest this morning with a foreign client, according to Seven Summit Treks.

Kami Rita, who has successfully climbed Mt Everest 26 times before, broke his own record by climbing the world’s highest peak again.

Sherpa, who was born in Thame village of Solukhumbu district, climbed Mt. Everest for the first time on May 13, 1994.
